- 🤖 I'm entirely burned-out by tech. Not my job, lucky me; But "social media" and deciding if I want to stay on iOS or switch back to android OR go the hard-route with Linux Mobile (no). iOS means a hard dependency on Apple, Android means either giving data to Google OR going with something like /e/OS which is de-googled, and Linux on the phone feels like a lot of work - I'd rather have something that just works™️ -- for now I'll just setup Android on my old Google Pixel and see how it goes before I decide what to do.
- ⏸️ Instagram now shows me advertisement pauses, which means I cannot scroll past the ads in my home feed. This is so annoying I'm close to deleting the app again >:(
- 🐹 I did a lot of Go development this week and enjoy it a lot. Go has it's pitfalls, and I would prefer Rust in almost any circumstance, but in the cloud-native / Kubernetes field it makes sense to use Go. In my specific case I started implementing a Kubernetes Controller using the kubebuilder framework
- 🏃 I did two short sessions at the gym this week and my back pain improved. I'll slowly try and do more and see how I feel - I really missed the gym!
- 🛋️ at work we rearranged the area I sit in to be more open and I love it. At first I thought I'd hate it since I have no wall / whiteboard behind me now but I actually like it. Just need to use the beanbag more often now!
- 😎 been listening to a lot of lofi this week, and once again I realise I should do this more often. There's a ton of good music compilations on Spotify and YouTube and it's super calming to listen to the lofi beats.
