…sickness.
Once in forever I wasn’t sick during a vacation but basically directly after, so I spent my first working week at home with a lot of sleep (two nights in a row with 12h of sleep!) and Ibuprofen and now I’m feeling a lot better already, I hope I’ll fully recover by Monday so I can go back to the office (I really miss the office and I once more realised how I dislike working from home).
Anyway, this week we got:
- Pager-duty! ☎️ I was on-call again and had two minor incidents which were quickly resolved thanks to good documentation and the general resilience of our systems. 5/5 would do again.
- Diablo 4 came to Gamepass so I decided to give it a try and I like it. It also made me realise how much I miss Elder Scrolls Online. 🥲
- My mother-in-law visited for a week and the weather was so bad we couldn’t do much with her, my wife planned nice things but they all “fell in the water” (as we say in German when something doesn’t go as planned)
- Otherwise I really did sleep an awful lot. So much I don’t wanna see my bed anymore. 😬
